Galaxycon Raleigh, formerly known as Raleigh Supercon, is a three-day festival tailored to pop-culture, superhero, sci-fi, fantasy, anime, cartoon, and video game fanatics. Guests have the opportunity to meet an array of celebrities, including creative guests from comics, movies, television, wrestling, and more! As a testament to last year's success, an estimated 30,000 people are expected to attend Galaxycon Raleigh this year! Don't miss one of 2019s most highly anticipated events.
Beer Bourbon and BBQ Festival
August 2nd - 3rd
Located only 15 minutes away from downtown Raleigh, Cary is hosting its 10th annual Beer, Bourbon and BBQ Festival, where visitors can enjoy two days full of smoked meat, beer and bourbon tastings, outdoor games, and live entertainment! Renowned for its overindulgence of meats, the 2019 festival will feature an incredible smoked and barbecue selection, including pulled pork, ribs, brisket, chicken, sausages—even exotic meats like alligator and Longhorn Rounds! Additionally, the "All You Care to Taste" drink tastings include over 40 bourbons and 60 beers on tap for attendees to sample. Drink connoisseurs will appreciate and enjoy the seminars hosted in the Tasting Theater with expert distillers and brewmasters. For those up to the challenge, the Cochon Carnival is offering a host of games to play while enjoying the great Bluegrass and live rock music on the Main Stage. The Brickyard Road Band will treat the audience to an ultimate 1970s Lynyrd Skynyrd music experience from 4:30 pm until 6:00 pm on Friday; while on Saturday, Bennett Wales and the Relief and Junk Food will rock the house in the afternoon and evening, respectively. Make sure to grab your tickets (and napkins) before The Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ Festival sells out! http://www.beerandbourbon.com/cary-nc/show

Summer Daze Music Festival
As one of Raleigh’s most hailed concerts, it comes as no surprise that this year’s Summer Daze Music Festival is expected to draw its largest crowd! Not only are artists such as Shwayze, Carter Cruiser, DJ Nevy, and Surfer Blood performing, but guests are also able to taste some of Raleigh’s most sought-after dishes offered at local food trucks and vendors. Last year, the Summer Daze Music Festival was able to raise enough money to sponsor 50 art lessons for children in need. Located in Midtown Park in North Hills, come prepared to end your summer with a bang and have a great time! Entry is free; however, there are “beer tickets” available for sale.
