Parks & Recreation

If you’re more the fitness-type, rather than the “fit’n this next pizza slice into my mouth”-type, you probably already know that Raleigh is home to over 200 parks! These include 112 tennis courts for you to cause racket at, 100 miles of greenway to tame, nine pools, and dozens of athletic facilities, off-leash dog parks, nature preserves, and community centers - many of which are located ITB.

Bring the family to the Jaycee for baseball, sand volleyball, or for a weekend cookout. If you’d prefer something more solitary, head to Lassiter Mill Park to take in North Carolina’s natural beauty as you walk, jog, or bike down the park trail.

Just leave the pizza at home.
